Historical Trolley Tours of Our Grounds
We will offer two types of Cypress Lawn Trolley Tours in 2020.
The Trolley is a covered, all-weather vehicle with air-conditioning and heating. For questions and inquiries, email firstname.lastname@example.org
TROLLEY TOUR ONE is free to the general public and will replace our traditional docent-led walking tours. It occurs on the second Saturday of every month, January through November, at 11 a.m. This allows many to participate who found our hills too steep, the walks too long, or the weather inclement. Some tours will be general in nature, others will have a theme. All the tours include refreshments, a complimentary copy of Michael Svaneviks’ Pillars of the Past, and a $50 raffle award. The full schedule of monthly docent topics appears at the end of this page.
THE TROLLEY SEATS 24, SO WE REQUIRE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE.
Please call 650.755.0580. Cancellations are accepted.

TROLLEY TOUR TWO is specially designed for non-profits and can be booked anytime, subject only to availability. The seating capacity is 24.
Trolley Tour Testimonials
“Thanks so very much to the both of you for a most informative Trolley Tour. Terry is not only very knowledgeable about Cypress Lawn but San Francisco history too. And it was great to have Aracele available to answer our family history research questions. You are a great team!“
“When we signed up for the Trolley Tour for nonprofit groups, we did not quite know what to expect, and we certainly were not disappointed! You gave us so much information about Cypress Lawn getting started, the beautiful grounds, historic mausoleums, their residences’ histories, and all the gorgeous artwork. The trolley ride to the Chinese area was something many of us had not seen before. It was all very educational. We appreciate all the booklets and brochures that you gave us.“
“You were very knowledgeable, and the questions that we had were well answered. It was a wonderful experience, and the feedback was very positive. The book is a good read also. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
“Our Red Hat ladies learned so much about Cypress Lawn… I liked doing the East, Westside, and Hillside and their differences. The Chinese cemetery and the feng shui design were interesting. Your tour was a wonderful presentation with so much information. I know others will join you in the future and enjoy it!
